Location - We consider ourselves lucky to be in the best area you can find in United States - Western Montana! Trapper Creek Lodge is located on the confluence between Trapper Creek coming out of Trapper Canyon and the West Fork of the Bitterroot River on the south end of the Bitterroot Valley. The lodge is located in a small medow in Trapper Canyon at the base of snow capped Trapper Peak and the Sugar Loaf Mountain. We are only 3.5 miles from the Selway-Bitterroot wilderness. As the crow flies we are only 16 miles from the Continental Divide. The views are spectacular Near the headwaters of the Columbia River System and just over the hill from the headwaters of the Missouri; we are a unique location for the fisherman. By automobile we are within 60 miles of the Salmon, Big Hole, Selway and Clark Fork Rivers here in Western Montana and Norther Idaho. |
